Weddings: Jen & Kevin

April 10, 2008

I have already posted Jen & Kevin’s engagement session on the blog with a link to their slideshow, now it is time to post their wedding! Only 6 months later! They were married at a church in Westminster and then headed back to Jen’s parents’ farm for a huge tent reception. Really, this is the biggest tent I have ever seen. Actually, it was 3 or 4 tents put together. An entrance tent with gift table, photo guestbook, favors and 2 bars. Then the massive main tent, and a tent off the back for the food, and a tent for the caterers. Amazing. She even decorated the lawn in front of the tent. It was beautiful. Kevin is a full time firefighter, but moonlights as a rodeo cowboy on weekends. He had a lot of cowboys at the wedding. In fact, the rodeo announcer announced them into the reception. Very cool! I loved their vintage wedding cake topper and the use of chicken feeders to hold flowers on the DJ table. It was a great night and Pete and I had a blast shooting it! A few weeks after the wedding we went out for an “We Did” session. Fabulous – that post will follow!
